Manage all aspects of marketing and promotion of the School of Social Work’s undergraduate and graduate programs, which include on-campus, satellite, and online programs. Develop and organize continuing-education programs, and manage the operation and promotion of Wild Bill’s Coffee Shop. Lead community engagement efforts, including social media channels, collaboration with other allied organizations and agencies, service on committees and boards dedicated to social and racial justice, disability, and other social-work-related initiatives. I created the School’s “Making Social Justice Work” tagline and wordmark and have managed a successful line of merchandise using the new brand identity, as well as redesigning print materials to reflect the updated branding.

As marketing director, I oversaw marketing and promotional initiatives of the festival, including development and implementation of festival brand. I secured media partnerships for and increased awareness and coverage on local, regional, and national levels. Additionally, I worked closely with our website developer and graphic designer to ensure timely, user-friendly, and high-quality content on our website and managed social media channels for the festival. In my role as director of community engagement, I worked to build relationships with local businesses and sponsors to integrate them more fully with the festival as a community event--whether by hosting events, offering deals to festival-goers, producing our t-shirts, or brewing a special Mission Creek beer.
